Community Feedback Survey: Clear Skies Park Development

Clear Skies Park is a proposed neighbourhood park located at 45 Gunby Blvd in Waterdown. The neighbourhood park will be developed on an initial 2.7 Acre property parcel of land, with a future expansion of the park on lands to the North East.

With the development of the Clear Skies Park, the City of Hamilton is seeking input from the community to gain insight on the desired playground structure and features that residents wish to see incorporated into the park space. This is also an opportunity to comment on the proposed park design.

The playground survey is intended to gather feedback on desired playground style and features. All examples provided in survey are representative of a style or type of feature, they are not necessarily a feature or structure that would specifically be incorporated to the final design. Separately, residents can provide generalized thoughts and ideas about the playground space through the design feedback portion. The Clear Skies Park playground survey and design feedback portal will be open from August 8 to September 8, 2023.

At present, the development timeline sees public consultation running into the fall, with a final design plan presented in late 2023. Construction of the park is currently scheduled for summer / fall of 2024.
