In mid-January I will undergo knee replacement surgery

In mid-January I will undergo knee replacement surgery. I am pleased to have finally secured the opportunity to fix a mobility problem, after repeated, pandemic-related delays. My rehabilitation is anticipated to take several weeks.

As I recover at home, I will make full use of current City Council protocols to attend meetings remotely. I do not intend to forgo any of my responsibilities to either City Council, nor my seats on two Standing Committees. My virtual attendance will likely be the norm through February.

While my ability to meet in-person with constituents will be impacted during this time, rest assured, I will continue my work without interruption, advocating on our community’s behalf. My team and I remain in daily contact, and I am committed to fielding the questions, suggestions, and recommendations of ward 15 constituents. Do not hesitate to reach out to ted.mcmeekin@hamilton.ca or call 905-546-2713.
